In the Commons at Bacon Heights (renovation to be completed in August/September 2011), there is an area designated as the Connection Center.  Our desire is that the Connection Center is a place where guests and members can find information about what's going on at BHBC. 

Whether you need information about connecting to a small group, getting involved in a ministry of BHBC, or need information about an upcoming event the Connection Center is where to do that.  This is simply the online version!

Connecting to People

Being connected to a small group (also known as Sunday School, or Adult Bible study class/department) is the single best way to be a part of church life and to know that you will never have to stand alone no matter what tomorrow brings.  Find out more about all of our small group offerings here.  Part of our mission statement says that we "pursue Christ as Lord."  That pursuit happens best in the company of fellow believers. 

Getting Connected in Ministry

The first part of our mission statement says that we "present Christ as Savior."  You may not be comfortable witnessing door to door, but we have all been equipped to love those whom God puts in our path in practical ways.  Our expectation for all of our members is that they be involved in some type of ministry beyond church attendance.  You'll find a list of ministry opportunities here, although each of our ministerial staff can also tell you about other opportunities in their respective ministry areas.
