Thursday night we had about 40 people show up to help move the chairs from the worship center to the Family Life Center, (temporary worship center). We sent out an appeal for help and a bunch of folks responded with "You can count on me." We got the chairs moved in 28 minutes--that's right, 350 chairs moved (we already had a few in the FLC) in less than 30 minutes and we had to go across the desert--err, I mean dirt pathway between the two buildings--and squeeze through a narrow door. ALL IN 28 MINUTES!!!!! Wow, what an effort by a lot of folks.

Frankly, I'm excited about all the "going's on" around here. Too many churches are declining or not interested in making any headway. Bacon Heights is in the position of needing to make improvements to serve our expanding ministry area. "Yeah God" for what You're doing here.
